Looking at Boys in Magazines: Hotter Than We Had Anticipated Edition

Hey party people! It's that time of year again, the September issues are trickling out into our newsstands and we are looking for the thickest issues possible. I normally limit myself to 3 magazines, so I'm endlessly grateful for the following magazines posting their shoots online. Asked and answered.

So here are (in order of hotness surprise) some of our fav shoots from September's magazines.

First up we have America's Sweethunk (COINED!) Chris Pratt on the cover of the September 2014 issue of Esquire magazine, photographed by Nigel Parry. Needless to say, he's never looked better. Even though his suits could fit a titch better, that cover look is utterly dashing.

Next we have James McAvoy on the cover of September 2014 Nylon Guys magazine photographed by Simon Emmett. That brooding gaze!

See more after the jump.

The Wayward Gosling Returns

He's back. Doing what he does best: walking through the airport, looking remarkable. Past admiration seen here.

He's in Cannes all week. Lets try not to scare him away again.

Happy Monday, we missed you.

Handsome Fellas Hanging Out: Harrison is Foxy Edition

We don't give Columbus Short enough attention; neither does Scandal (though he was getting a little precocious this week, so step in the right direction!) We saw photos of him at the 'GQ Man of the Year Party' last week and immediately sparked an email debate, SUBJECT: Um, Harrison is foxy.

Caitlin professed past attraction for Harrison, but for me he only came into vogue after seeing (and then immediately Googling more) real life Columbus photos. Classic question of Who's Hot! Check him out looking sharp and hanging with equally hot Michael B. Jordan. Katie Lowes must be dying inside, we would be.

If you're dealing with snowy weather today, maybe stay inside and photoshop your face into the below picture. It might soothe any impending winter heartache.

Looking at Boys in Magazines: Eastwood 2.0

Loyal readers will recall that last week we shared a dreamy picture of young Clint Eastwood, click here for a refresher. This week the stars fully aligned to provide us with a perfect follow up post in the form of one Scott Eastwood. Scott, son of Clint, is a supposed actor, avid surfer and all around hunk.

Enjoy these images of him, as featured in Town and Country:

NOTE: Our research department (ie. Google) confirms he never appeared on Mrs. Eastwood and Company AND will be starring in a movie with Brad Pitt and Shia LaBeouf. He's legit.

Rainy Day Clint

It is a windy, rainy afternoon here in Toronto and we need a pick me up! This picture of a young Clint Eastwood is just the ticket. We stumbled across it earlier this week and think it is definitely worth sharing.

What a fox, and those short shorts are reviling Bob Benson at his finest. If only this were the summer of 1956 and we were on the receiving end of that call. That said, if 83 year old Clint is still your jam we hear he is recently single.

Looking at Boys in Magazines: Irish Love Affair Edition

If the following doesn't immediately evoke a need to pack up your finest of tailored jackets and move to the Irish countryside in pursuit of love, you've all got issues.

Daria Werbowy & Adam Driver are photographed by Annie Leibovitz for US Vogue September 2013. We love it.

BONUS: Adam Driver can also be seen in the new Gap ad campaign! Boy has caught the modelling bug. Or the fashion world has caught the Adam bug, har har.

This is real life hotnees people!

Handsome Fellas Playing Folk Music Together

This may come as a shock to some, but we've long thought that forming an all-girl folk band might be a great way to achieve fame, we're also pretty sure we'd kill it on the tambourine! When this dream comes into fruition let's be clear that we'll gladly become the first couple of folk music with any of the men featured in the Mumford and Sons Hopeless Wanderer video. Hint: they are surprisingly funnymen Ed Helmes, Jason Batemen, Will Forte and Jason Sudeikis!

The boys team up for a folk parody, so cut to us being obsessed because it is great. True, Will's beard is a tad Breaking Amish, but everything else is pin point! Where can we buy tickets for this concert tour?

Hello Wallace and other developments

We've never wanted to be at Comic-Con more than we have this week! Ok, we've never wanted to be at Comic-Con before but we saw pictures of Percy Daggs III there and well you understand.

Percy was there to join Veronica Mars castmates for a panel discussion during which a sneak peek of the movie was presented! We've admittedly been too preoccupied watching it all week to share until now:

Also, we'd like to personally thank the Internet for providing us with this glorious screenshot:

Happy Friday!

UPDATE!

Wallace tweeted back at us! Hurrah! We are obvi beyond thrilled. See below for evidence.

Handsome Fellas Hanging Out: Breaking Bad Edition

The cast of Breaking Bad got together to celebrate the shows forthcoming final season. Suits and champagne were involved aiding in both Aaron Pauls hotness and Bryan Cranstons handsomeness.

It'll be a sad, sad day when these two no longer go on adorable press dates. Even though we do still have a season of Jesse and Mr. White ahead, as well as Emmy red carpet/(hopefully!) winners wear in September, cherish these times.

Looking at Boys in Magazines: Drake Days of Summer Edition

We gotta say we've been kinda off the Drake tip these days. However, he is starting to win us back with this cover. He's definitely looked better in past shoots, and we can't confidently get behind this outfit, but the inside pages are pretty darn seksi.

Those are some hella tight and white jeans.

Smilingly yours,
Us

To Like or Not to Like: Bob Benson

For those of you watching Mad Men this season, tell us: how do you feel about Bob Benson? We’re torn.

Disclaimer: We were slightly predisposed to hate him as our only familiarity with James Wolk (the actor playing Bob) comes from a past role as a preppy-jerk boyfriend type in For a Good Time Call.

This is what we know and like about BB

He is one snappy dresser. Short shorts!

He seems to truly want to help out Joan (also Pete!). Ps. Is Bob dating Joan? We need to see some on-screen physical displays as confirmation. Beach date was not enough.

He is real life hot.

This is what we don’t trust about BB

100% Sycophant.

#coolitwiththecoffeealready

Bit of a liar. He told Ken his father died, but told Pete that he was recently nursed back to health! Mind. Blown. This could, however, all just be part of the sucking up.

Apparently we are not alone. Rolling Stone started a popular hashtag #WhoisBobBenson and apparently some real life humans have some popular theories about him (i.e. undercover law enforcement, a foil for Mr. Draper himself or even a love child!).

Not ones for ruining TV with conspiracy theories we just want to know if you can tolerate him or not?

Handsome Fellas Hanging Out: Volume 3

Hey Reader.

Here's a true afternoon delight!: Jason Bateman and Will Arnett out and about in New York.

With only a week until you hermit out to watch all 15 new episodes of AD in a row, we recommend getting out and enjoying the sunshine this weekend. These two sure did, cutest couple of the long weekend.

Happy Friday!

Anatomy of a Hottie: Sexy Lipsync Edition

Happy Friday!

If you haven't watched the clip of John Krasinski and Jimmy Fallon soundlessly battling in a lip-sync-off, you are going to have to stop whatever you're doing and watch it now (see below). It's fantastic and we love John Krasinski more than ever.

Let's just say it wouldn't be inappropriate to call us super fans (still relatively indifferent to Jimmy however).

We are also mentally preparing for our own Lip Sync battles. Caitlin would obviously choose I Want You To Need Me by Celine Dion and Lauren's choice is clearly Radio Romance by Tiffany.

Groovingly yours,
Us
