It officially ended last night but we considered ourselves lucky to have had a figurative front row seat, those lines are mad hard to beat at the Toronto International Film Festival. It descends onto our unassuming city once a year and boy does it make us feel glamorous. And we weren't the only ones, TIFF excitement seemed at an all time high this year and the red carpet fashion matched. We've been following along (in person, from a safe stalker distance) but mostly online. Here are our favorite looks from the past two weeks:
Best of the best:
Keira Knightley in a Michael van der Ham dress at "Laggies" Red Carpet ...
… & in Chanel at "The Imitation Game".
Best of the ladies:
Octavia Spencer in anything, but at the "Black and White" Premiere wearing Tadashi Shoji.
Holliday Granger at the "Riot Club" Gala Premiere wearing Mulberry.
Amanda Seyfried on the "While We Were Young" carpet in Valentino.
Reese Witherspoon in Dolce and Gabbana at "The Good Lie" premiere.
Rose Byrne at "Adult Beginners" in Phillip Lim.
Abigail Spencer at the premiere of “This Is Where I Leave You” in Dolce and Gabbana.
Kirsten Wiig at "Welcome to Me" where we observed first hand that she has killer legs!
Gugu Mbatha-Raw at “Beyond The Lights” in a Delpozo gown. This is just plain stunning.
See more after the jump!
Several Morning(s) After: TIFF Edition
Let's join in just one last chorus, read: Happy Labour Day!
"Summer days will soon be over, soon the autumn starts..."
And sure your summers are never as scandalous as Baby's, you're no Penny on the dance floor & could never pull off Lisa's two piece, but everyone deserve a Kellermans style send off this time of year!
Happy Labour Day y'all!
Autumnally yours,
Us
5th Ever Bangin' Awards: Oscars 2014
It's that time of year again star-gazers, so get your red carpets steam cleaned because they are about to be the home of the greatest (and worst) of celebrity fashions! But, before scrutinizing and arguing over what we loved or loathed, let's focus on the best fashions presented on the silver screen this year. We had the opportunity to covet styles from all different decades, including the future, and some were pretty bangin'!

Looking at Veronica and Logan in Magazines
Listen up, there is a new EW cover and it's starring Jason Dohring's arms! Kristen Bell is also there.
One month.

Happy Saturday.
Morning After: The 71st Annual Golden Globes
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Award season is back in full swing and we were giddy with excitement for the 71st Annual Golden Globes. Our evening was spent equal parts cringing and celebrating and that’s just the way we like it. It seemed like a big win for SNL Alum, although by the looks on Lorne Michaels' face you wouldn’t have thought so; we surely can’t imagine him continuing to scowl at Amy and Tina’s perfect Clooney and DiCaprio zingers or during Andy Samberg’s adorable acceptance speech (sidebar: how precious was the Seth Meyers enthusiasm for him?)!
We also can’t imagine being alone in what we loved about last night’s event: Jared Leto’s bun, budding romance between Amy Poehler and Bono, being proud of Leo but then, as any good girlfriend should be, equally shamed by his mispronunciation, as well as Emma Thompson and Julia Louis Dreyfus' overall amazingness, to name only a few. So we have, as we were born to do, compiled a comprehensive list of our best and worst of the night.
Best Dressed Ladies: The stunning Lupita Nyong'o in Ralph Lauren and that siren Helen Mirren in Jenny Packham.
Best Dressed Men (this really just means SEXIEST MEN to us hetero gals): Idris Elba and Chris Pine. Swoon.
Worst dressed Ladies: Jennifer Lawrence in Dior and, hate to say it, Sandy Bullock in Prabal Gurung.
Winner for lowest cut neckline: Not surprising Amy Adams, could've done without that necklace, but she does look bangin'.
Let's close our eyes and imagine Lena Dunham wore something more in this colour range:

Happy December Y'all!
Hello Wallace and other developments
We've never wanted to be at Comic-Con more than we have this week! Ok, we've never wanted to be at Comic-Con before but we saw pictures of Percy Daggs III there and well you understand.
Percy was there to join Veronica Mars castmates for a panel discussion during which a sneak peek of the movie was presented! We've admittedly been too preoccupied watching it all week to share until now:
Also, we'd like to personally thank the Internet for providing us with this glorious screenshot:
Happy Friday!
UPDATE!
Wallace tweeted back at us! Hurrah! We are obvi beyond thrilled. See below for evidence.
Handsome Fellas Hanging Out: Veronica Mars Set Edition
If you have little to no interest in the Veronica Mars Movie you might want to start losing interest in this blog, as we won't stop talking about it.
Today we were particularly enthused to see our favourite hotties (Jason Dohring, Chris Lowell and Ryan Hansen!) hanging out on set together. Time seems to have been nothing but kind to the men in Veronica's life and we are swooning already.
Here are some additional photos that have hit the interweb today! We aren't ones for frantic speculation, but is that Piz holding Veronica's hand? It is hard for our hearts to ignore.
Dancing with Dick Casablancas
Our enthusiasm over the return of Veronica Mars is hardly a secret and apparently neither is Ryan Hansens.
Ryan tweeted this video last night and shook his booty back into character; officially announcing his return as Dick Casablancas! Drippin' swagoo fo sho.

The Great Gatsby Has a Premiere
Wouldn't be a normal week without mentioning it, and with less than 10 days until lift off (though it feels more like a decade) you shouldn't be surprised.
In keeping with our excitement we wanted to pass some positive judgement on how the stars looked at last night's premiere.
The films star, Carey Mulligan looked naturally elegant in Lanvin.

Though completely unrelated to the project, Nina Dobrev looked gorgeous and sharply on trend with the movie's chic 20's style in Versace.

Two of our fav men, Leo and Jay were obviously in attendance and looked dapper.

And they totally hung out together too! (oh, Tobey Maguire was also there.)
Also, Baz Luhrmann is hot, no? (is that awkward? are we alone...hello?)
