Morning After: 86th Academy Awards

The Academy Awards took place last night, and, like all good samaritans, we gathered to watch in Lauren's condo's party room and ate our weight in cheese, respectively. And drank cocktails of course!

Anyway, the show was great and Ellen did an impeccable job and had us laughing out loud! Honestly though, we thought she'd be dancing more. There were some awkward moments (most winners/presenters really struggled with the double kiss) and some truly inspiring moments (we liked Lupita's and Jared's speeches), but most of all there was a lot of glitz and some amazing frocks! See our judgements below.

Best Dressed Ladystars: Kate Hudson in Atelier Versace. She is looking bomb diggity these days. Keep it up gurlll! Anne Hathaway in Gucci. Although the shape is reminiscent of last year's dress, this one is much much better. Consider yourself redeemed Anne!

Best Dressed Ladystar Runner Up: Lupita Nyung'o in Prada. She looks beautiful and the colour is to die. But we were expecting a little more from her and that neckline is a tad broad for our tastes.

Surprisingly Worst Dressed Ladystar: Anna Kendrick, what happened? This J. Mendel gown was far too busy and not at all what we would have expected.

Non-surprisingly Worst Dressed Ladystar: Whoopi, no. It didn't work when Julia attempted, and it's certainly not working for you.

Best Dressed Manstars: The young ones take it! Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Michael B. Jordan. Looking happy and dapper as hell!

Best Dressed (and most in love) Couples:

Worst Dressed Couples: We hate to say it, but Pharrell could look way better from the waist down. And the Hemsworths just didn't make any effort to coordinate.

Best Maternity: Obviously, this goes to Kerry Washington in Jason Wu , who seems like she's a sweetheart IRL, and Olivia Wilde in Valentino, who seems like she's probably not a sweetheart IRL. Regardless, these babies are gonna be kay-ute.

Best Beauty: We also have to award these pregnant ladies for their makeup. Maybe it's just their natural glow, but they look fresh, glamourous, and chic all at the same time.

Moment Most Likely To Be Poorly Replicated Next Year: This was pure genius and whoever hosts next year will have to try pretty hard to top this stunt.

Craziest, Blue Outfit: Liza wins this one! We almost gave it to Sandy (not).

Best Photo Bomb: God, we hope these two are dating fer rill.

Best Dance: But we'd settle for these two getting together!

Best Burgeoning Friendship: Leonardo DiCaprio and Sandra Bullock. Dry your losers tears, you're on the verge of a celebrity BFF-ship and we're happy it got caught on camera.
Honorable mention: This clique. You can't sit with us!
